Maintenance of high shear emulsifying machine

Author:

High-shear emulsification technology has the functions of mixing, crushing, dispersing, emulsifying, etc., and has a particularly significant crushing effect on polymer materials. It can effectively solve the crushing and emulsifying problems of various materials and replace the traditional colloid mill equipment. Compared with the traditional production process, it has four advantages: low energy consumption, low production cost, high product quality and ultra-fine. Suitable for working under normal pressure, vacuum and positive pressure. It has stable operation, low noise, convenient cleaning, flexible, can be used continuously, the material can be ultra-fine dispersion, emulsification.

Maintenance of high shear emulsifying machine:

1. During installation or use, the emulsification equipment should be carefully handled to avoid severe vibration.

2. The maintenance personnel shall regularly check the fastening bolts, especially the bolts and nuts that are easy to loosen and whether the feet are loose.

3, in the process of maintenance and replacement of the rotor, it is recommended to use special tools, and to avoid hard hit, resulting in deformation and damage of parts.

4. The shaft sleeve of the high-shear emulsifier is a vulnerable part. Its material can be different according to the nature of the user's material, but the wear of the shaft sleeve needs to be checked frequently by maintenance personnel to ensure that the rotor and stator do not touch.

Characteristics of high shear dispersing emulsifying machine

High shear dispersing emulsifier has a wide range of applications, with high-speed mixing, dispersion, rapid refinement, dissolution, homogenization, emulsification six characteristics. High shear dispersing emulsifier is applicable to the process of high linear speed, which can enhance the processing of materials, so that the speed of dispersion, homogenization, emulsification and mixing is faster and the effect is better.

Working principle of high shear dispersion emulsifying machine

High-shear dispersing emulsifier has six characteristics: high-speed mixing, dispersion, rapid refinement, dissolution, homogenization and emulsification. Mechanical and hydraulic high-speed shearing force is the key to the work of high-shear dispersion emulsifying machine. The high-speed rotating rotor and stator are precisely matched, resulting in high-shear linear velocity and mechanical shearing and hydraulic shearing force brought by high-frequency mechanical effect, so as to ensure that the material can withstand hundreds of thousands of times of shearing per minute, under the combined action of strong centrifugal extrusion, shearing, spraying, liquid layer friction, collision, tearing refinement, turbulence, vortex and other complex liquid flows in the precision gap between the stator and rotor of the high-shear dispersing emulsifier, the insoluble liquid phase, liquid-gas phase and liquid-solid phase can be mixed, dispersed and emulsified evenly and uniformly in an instant under the combined action of corresponding mature process conditions, and thus cycle back and forth, finally, high quality products are obtained.

High shear dispersion emulsifying machine shearing process:

1. Under the action of the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating rotor, the material in the figure is sucked into the working cavity from the axial direction from the upper and lower feeding areas of the working head.

2. The strong centrifugal force throws the material from the radial direction into the narrow and precise gap between the stator and the rotor. At the same time by centrifugal extrusion, impact and other forces, so that the initial dispersion of emulsification of materials.

3. At the outer end of the high-speed rotating rotor, a linear velocity of at least 15 m/s is generated, up to 40 m/s, and strong mechanical and hydraulic shearing, liquid layer friction and impact tearing are formed to fully disperse, emulsify, homogenize, crush and shoot through the stator slot at the same time.

4. The material is continuously ejected from the radial direction at high speed, changing the flow direction under the resistance of the material itself and the container wall. At the same time, under the action of the upper and lower axial suction forces generated in the rotor area, two strong upper and lower turbulence are formed. After several cycles, the material finally completes the process of dispersion, emulsification and homogenization.
